On Wednesday 16th June, Upperlands Community Development Ltd. launched its Summer 2021 activity camp for all P1 - P7 children in the Upperlands Area.

The week long camp [2nd - 6th August] is being held at the Linenhall Centre and Festival Park Upperlands.

Our 2021 camp runs 10am-3pm Monday to Friday.

(Each group's day trip may require minor changes to times etc.)

The week long activities will provide opportunities for children aged P1-P7 to meet, work/play together, learn new skills and try out new activities right here on their own door step.

It is our hope that the action packed week will help the youngsters to further develop those social skills and confidences which were so challenged during long stretches of Home learning.

We also hope that by working closely with local volunteers, they too will develop their own skills and confidence in through making valuable contributions to their own community.

Summer Camp bus transport will be provided .
Collection/Drop off points include Innishrush, Tamlaght O'Crilly and Culnady.

Food for Break and Lunch will be included on all days.

Places at the camp are on a first come first served basis.
There is no charge for this camp - we would ask you to only book a space online if your child is able to attend.

This is a camp solely run by volunteers who will all have completed Access NI and we will have trained first aiders on site also.

The only folk receiving payment will be the experts hired to present the fabulous opportunities we are able to offer your children.

There will be strict Covid protocols in place in line with Government rules in August.

However we will still be able to deliver an action packed programme for everyone.

Each of our three groups will also be having a fabulous day trip.

P1-P3 - will spend a day at Rosepark Farm Ballymoney
[1 parent can attend with children if they wish.]

P4-P7 - Will burn up lots of energy at Woodhall Activity Centre Kilrea
[Parents are asked to make their own arrangements to drop off / collect their children at Woodhall 9am-5pm.]

Again, lunch is included.

Please note that should events be oversubscribed, numbers
will be managed through application of published criteria.
